About Havannah Blue
Vanuatu’s latest family fun beach house is now available for Holiday, Short Term or Long Term Rental!
Havannah Blue is located adjacent to Lelepa Landing, on the southern end of Havannah Harbour, in north west Efate.
Only 25 minutes drive on bitumen highway from Vila’s international airport and 35 mins from Vila centre.
GETTING ABOUT – Most guests will hire a car for the duration, and this will certainly give you the most freedom to explore this wonderful area, as well a getting back to Vila for some shopping. Australians and New Zealanders will need to contend with driving on the right side of the road, but the locals are very laid back and courteous, so most guests manage easily. Should you prefer not to drive, we can arrange pick up from the airport, grocery shopping and transfers to and from Havannah Blue, for a small surcharge. Local buses to Vila pick up from just out the front, and many tours and local restaurants have a free pick up service. Taxis also service the area, but these should be booked well in advance.
- Awesome Nature
- Family Friendly
- Online Booking
Dudley can also organise fishing, snorkelling, diving or just exploring trips for your party. These are arranged directly with Dudley once you have arrived, and are run independently of Havannah Blue, with fees of between 6,000vt and 10,000vt per group per trip, to be paid in cash directly to Dudley upon commencement. At these prices, trips are more of a casual nature, and are subject to weather conditions, boat and guide availability. Food, drinks, snorkelling gear, towels, dive gear/tanks or dive guides are not included. (refer to Diving on ACTIVITIES page for commercial diving tours). Life jackets, fishing gear and bait are provided. Serious fishermen should bring their own favourite pelagic lures.
Note that longer fishing trips and trolling will cost extra.
What to Expect

Prior to your arrival, our manager will contact you and email you information about access, keys, airport transfer options, as well as providing her contact details. Most times the manager will be there to greet you upon arrival at Havannah Blue and give you a quick run down of the facilities.
Havannah Harbour is blessed with some of Vanuatu’s best restaurants within a short drive. All are licensed, have awesome views, and all utilise a great variety of locally sourced and imported products. Learn more about the restaurants in the area.
The nearby Havannah Store sells the basic groceries and household requirements, as well as petrol and diesel (usually). It is open from 7am – 6pm, 7 days.
Your main shopping should probably be done in one of the larger supermarkets in Vila.
A unique feature offered to Havannah Blue guests is private banana boat trips provided by local guide (and our groundsman), Dudley, or one of his assistants. Guests staying with us for 7 nights and over will receive a free day trip of their choosing, and we highly recommend visiting Lelepa Island village and the ancient Fels cave along with snorkelling off one of the nearby deserted beaches.
